Dr. Babajide Adewumi is a medical doctor, an experienced physician informaticist, and a seasoned business analyst who is committed to making impact in the healthcare informatics integration and revenue improvement space. Jide is also a seasoned business and financial analyst with an eye for entrepreneurship and always seeking out new investment opportunities while mentoring start-ups and innovative ideas.
Trained at the prestigious College of Medicine, University of Ibadan, Jide went on to practice family medicine as a general practitioner before seeking out different leadership track and opportunities within the healthcare industry by transitioning from clinical practice to clinical informatics and business leadership with a focus to improve healthcare delivery by leveraging the vast potentials of information technology and business operations strategies within the healthcare industry.
He currently has over 14 years experience championing implementation strategies at various stages of informatics integration in health care delivery, including mentoring doctors and other healthcare workers, and hospital leadership. Jide is passionate about improving provider experience with electronic medical record systems and believes a focused, value-driven approach, targeted at the major stakeholders of healthcare and healthcare delivery will produce the most desired results of IT integration into patient care.
He has a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) from the prestigious Terry College of Business, University of Georgia. He is the Medical Director and CEO of DewMed Consulting, a healthcare consulting firm based in the United States, and the Executive Director of Flociti Gold Resources Ltd
